Rodney Jong, MS, LMHC, LMFT, SOTP
Rodney is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and couples overcome relationship issues and heal from trauma and sexual addiction.
He recognizes the importance of having a therapist who understands the complexities of coping with intimate betrayal and repairing relationships from the damage of addiction. He offers focused interventions to help clients move past their pain and create a life that feels genuine and healthy.
Rodney views his counselor role as a guide and companion on the clients therapeutic journey, offering support and compassion, while encouraging self-reflection to foster growth. His approach is based on family systems, which examines how past experiences with caregivers and significant others may contribute to current life problems.
Helping clients identify their problematic patterns, while teaching them healthier and more successful ways to get their needs met is an important part of his therapeutic process. Rodney believes helping clients discover their inner resources is essential for making changes that will last well beyond treatment.
