Dr. Keri Clark

Dr. Keri Clark is a recognized expert in healing from painful life events who has a distinguished career of leadership. His genuineness and warmth allow clients to reveal extremely distressing struggles in an environment that feels safe and validating. He will stand with you whatever you are facing and you will know that you are not alone. He takes a collaborative approach and treats his clients as partners in the mutual goal of finding a way for them to achieve their aspirations and live the life that they want to live.
Dr. Clark has worked with hundreds of military members as they worked through the most painful trauma imaginable. He has sat with many who wished for death to escape immeasurable pain and helped them to build a new foundation for a life worth living. He currently specializes in helping individuals and couples to heal from trauma and problematic sexual behavior or infidelity. He also has extensive experience working with substance use and addiction. Dr. Clark will stand with you to find a way through whatever you are facing. He brings a unique balance between helping people understand that any problem behavior they face can be understood in a way that frees them from shame while also realizing that it must change if it’s hurting themselves or those they love.
Dr. Clark has extensive training and experience in individual, group and family therapy. He has provided and supervised care to clients of nearly every age for an extremely wide variety of concerns. Moreover, he has developed and run some highly successful inpatient and outpatient programs including the first embedded behavioral health clinic on Joint Base Lewis-McChord and an adolescent inpatient unit at the Child Study and Treatment Center treating adolescents with the most severe mental illness and problematic behavior in the state of Washington.
Dr. Clark will help you gain insight and restore hope during your session and will also help you learn skills to utilize in your life outside of sessions to give you specific skills to utilize in times of distress or conflict.
