Brian Humphries

MA, LMHCA

Mental Health Counselor Associate
Relationship & Intimacy Specialist

Brian draws on a rich background of managing a successful business career while devoting his time to working to help couples and men to increase intimacy skills and overall well-being.  He has a unique level of mastery for seeing through interpersonal conflict to the individual struggles that drive tension while internally desiring connection and belonging.

Brian’s areas of specialization include couples therapy, sex therapy, infidelity and sexual betrayals, and family conflict.  He has additional expertise in depression, substance abuse, trauma, and a variety of topics related to men’s health and well-being, to include emotional attunement, sexual health, and relationship skills.  Following a systemic and integrative framework, Brian utilizes evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

If you feel lost in your relationship and don’t know what steps to take, Brian can help you to find a path to connection.  If you desire a better sex life with your partner or have concerns about sexual functioning, he can help you work through your concerns in a safe environment.  If sexual behavior is hurting you or someone you care about with affairs, problematic pornography use, or other secretive sexual activity, Brian can work with you to help you find effective solutions to restore trust, integrity and wholeness.
