Aslan brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to both couples and individual counseling, drawing on over a decade of experience supporting couples and families through difficult and challenging life transitions. She has a deep appreciation for the complexities of relationships and interpersonal dynamics and works to create an engaging and supportive environment where clients feel truly heard and supported as they move towards a more connected and secure relationship. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices that guide clients toward meaningful and lasting change.

For individual clients, Aslan offers compassionate, trauma-informed care for those navigating anxiety, depression, grief, betrayal, and past trauma. She helps clients develop insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and build effective coping skills. With warmth and curiosity, Aslan supports individuals in increasing self-awareness, expressing their needs more clearly, and making thoughtful, values-aligned decisions that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

For clients navigating the profound pain of betrayal trauma, including experiences of infidelity and broken trust, she prioritizes creating a safe space where clients can begin to process their pain, regulate overwhelming emotions, and rebuild a sense of clarity and stability. She will help you make sense of what has happened, gently move through the layers of grief, and build practical tools for healing and resilience.

Aslan enjoys working with a wide range of relationship dynamics, including premarital couples, long-term partnerships and marriages, and co-parenting relationships. She understands that relationships can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging, and she is equipped to support clients through the life difficulties they face. Her focus on communication, active listening, openness, and understanding helps partners create healthier relationship patterns, allowing them to move from conflict toward connection. When relationships reach a point of uncertainty, she is able to support couples through Discernment Counseling, helping them navigate next steps with clarity, care, and respect.

In her work with couples, Aslan is especially passionate about helping partners build greater emotional closeness, strengthen communication, and rebuild trust and intimacy. She supports couples facing concerns such as disconnection, sexual challenges, and infidelity. Through her work, couples learn to better understand each other’s emotional needs, feel more secure and valued, and move toward repair, renewed closeness, and lasting relational growth. Aslan creates a safe, affirming space where both individuals feel heard, respected, and supported.

Aslan works from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework and thoughtfully integrates elements of the Gottman Method, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and attachment theory. She prioritizes clear communication, emotional awareness, and practical skill-building to support clients in reaching their goals
